Launch of Call * Response: Present, Past and Beyond (Alchemical Press)
Come rock the house on March 24 at 8:00 pm at McNally Robinson Grant Park. We’re throwing a big party in Prairie Ink to promote the Call * Response book.
Contributors Marshal Fries and Jim Agapito will be speaking about their written pieces. Contributing photographers will be on hand to answer questions along with the editing and publishing staff. Chris Sawatzk...y of the Ripperz & special guests will be entertaining you after presentation.
We hope to see as many of the contributors out as possible so that we can recognize them and their fabulous work!
The Prairie Ink Restaurant is making a fancy non-alcoholic cocktail for the evening, all proceeds from the purchase of these delicious beverages will be donated to Kids Help Phone. Come down and enjoy a drink and tasty eats!
Thirty-six local photographers, visual artists, writers and lyricists tell the story of Winnipeg’s punk music scene in gritty detail.
