Get Down With Indie Studio!

Oh hi there,

Hope your Monday is flying by as quickly as humanly possible because a) it's a Monday and b) Indie Studio is tonight! This week we are very happy to welcome Voldis and the Melodicas for a sit-down.

Tune in to Indie Studio on 92.9 KICK FM at 7pm for interview segments, a few tunes and a live acoustic performance (which should be extra cool considering they quite often have a full band and samples in their live performances!) Don't miss it!

SKATE4CANCER was back in Winnipeg over the weekend and like always you all came out and showed your support for Rob and S4C! Thank you so Much to everyone who was involved, Volunteers, Bands, Sponsors, Skaters and everyone who helped make this another great event for Skate4Cancer in Winnipeg. We had a great turnout, the second biggest that we've had for a Skate4Cancer event here in Winnipeg. We will be posting pics and Vids as they come in, so check back often. SHARKS at the Death Trap

Sharks is a great band out of the UK and they're playing Winnipeg on Tuesday June 14th. The show was supposed to be at the Royal Albert, but got moved to the Death Trap due to flooding. Check out a few vids by the band including one featuring Chuck Ragan, then go see them at the Death Trap!

Indie Studio Skate4Cancer special!

Happy sunny Monday all!!

We are back at it for another edition of Indie Studio on 92.9 KICK FM in promotion of the annual Skate4Cancer!

While it would be neat (and pretty hot) to have every band mentioned in the above poster in to chat, taking their place is the wonderful Be-Cause Industries co-founder/Skate4Cancer co-ordinator Jay Fulmore. We'll be covering his experience in the music industry, how he became involved in the event, how the bands are chosen and much more along with playing tunes from many of the bands taking the stage on June 12th.
