The new DREAM LOVE CURE CENTRE website is now online. Here is what Skate4Cancer founder Rob Dyer had to say about DREAM LOVE CURE and the launch of its online home:
Dear Friends.
I am so happy right now to be able to launch the online home of the Dream Love Cure Centre! In the 8 years of doing Skate4Cancer, this is one of the most important projects we have ever taken on.
For the next year, opening this centre is going to be the focus of s4c. The need for this centre for the cancer community of Toronto and for Skate4Cancer worldwide is massive.
Our vision for the DLC centre is very clear - a drop in centre for the community directly affected by cancer, a canvas to display our cure is knowledge campaigns that teach cancer prevention, event space and a home for our many skate4cancer volunteers to help grow and spread our mission/love.
Cancer is a scary subject for everyone, and having a forum for education, discussion and community building will serve to give people in Toronto abroad an opportunity they may not have otherwise had.
Please s4c needs all the help we can get to make this dream a reality.
