THE ALL NIGHT EP RELEASE: Show Review

"ONE MORE SONG...”
...will never be enough for fans of The All Night, especially when it comes to their live show.

After months holed up writing, recording and perfecting their original tunes, The All Night took to The Park Theatre stage Saturday evening for the release their self-titled debut EP. Since the evening got started on a very high note with newbies A Broken Summer, Blame the Television and the already adored Hope Atlantic, the boys were more than ready to rock out with everything they had out…figuratively speaking.

With the whole band (minus one temporarily missing vocalist) warming up with a shortened Michael Jackson favourite, they all came together just in time for the starting notes of their own Wasp Country. Amongst the rest of the 7 song set was their high energy lead single Savages!, a sprinkling of 1980’s goodness with their cover of Cory Hart’s Sunglasses at Night (original three part harmonies included) and that “one more song”; the fresh off the page rocker Start The Song, You Psychopath.

With their polished, yet gritty live vocals, even more spine chilling harmonies, tight musicianship and witty onstage banter with each other and the crowd, The All Night more than satisfied and made everyone there feel like they were part of their big happy family…sweaty post-show group hugs included.
