Solidarity Rock

SATURDAY MARCH 6TH at the WECC

Solidarity Rock is a Canadian based non-profit organization. We support cultural exchange between musicians and artists in Cuba and Canada. As our experience in Cuba continues the scope and reach of the project expands to include participants from new areas and collaboration between more artists. As part of the collaboration we endeavor to share knowledge, conversation, art, music and equipment to create a more solid base to build from creatively.

Winnipeg is now starting up it's own chapter. And is starting off by throwing a benefit concert on March 6.

Featuring SubCity, the Shouting Ground and The Falklands from Edmonton. All bands have agreed to play for free. It will also include a show of Cuban art which will be running in the small room before the show and during an extended break between the 2 & 3ird band, this portion is being organized by Kelse Middleton from the UofW Art History Students Association.
