Well, its coming up to the end of the December, and you know what that means...END OF THE YEAR WRAP UPS!
2009 has been a great first year for us here at BE:Cause Industries. With the help of our friends, volunteers and sponsors we've been able to put on a number of great events and support some great causes!
We had 2 hugely successful Skate4cancer "The Cure is Knowledge" Tour events at the Plaza Skate Park at the Forks. We held "Art for a Cure" where local artists created original pieces on blank skateboards and the works were auctioned off to benefit Cancer Care Manitoba. We also had events for The Autism Society of Manitoba and Winnipeg Harvest.
We could not have done these things without the help of our friends, volunteers, and sponsors. From people donating time to volunteer and help out, bands playing for free and donating their time, sponsors donating products and advertising, press covering our events and all the people behind the scenes working to make our events go off without a hitch there has been such an outpouring of support for BE:Cause and our mission that has truly been humbling! Thank you all so very much!
Please take the time to check out our sponsors and the causes we have supported this year. Please take a minute to check out all the bands & djs who have gave their time and energy as well as the Artists who were involved in ART FOR A CURE.
Bands & DJs: Comeback Kid, High Five Drive, Port Amoral, The Lytics, Sick City, DJ Mike B, DJ Co op, Rob Vilar, Jamall Knight, Brighter Brightest, Hundredfold, The Afterbeat, The Blackout Brigade, The Ripperz, Asado, Constants, Hope Atlantic, Crisis Jane, Blanka, Fame, Talk City, The City Champs, Common Lives, Low Pressure System, Making Waves, The Cheapshot Artists, Final Thought, Abstract Artform, Kill Katie & The Texas Dirty.

Art for a Cure Artists: Pat Lazo, Leslie Supnet, Fred Thomas, James Vandal, Bram Adey, Nereo, Adam Brooks, Mike Johnston, Matt Stevens, Arlea Ashcroft, Steve McConnell, Kara Pohl, Kristy MacKenzie.
With your continued support we hope that 2010 will be an even bigger better year than 2009! Please take some time this holiday season to think about the people around you and what you can do to help make their lives better or even just more enjoyable! Sometimes it doesn't take much. We've got some big plans for the upcoming year and we're very excited to get down to work! Thank you all once again for your help and support (I know its Cliche, but its ture) we seriously could not do what we do without your help! THANK YOU!
All the best in 2010 from: Jay, Mat and everyone at BE:Cause Industries.
